The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors on Tuesday approved a rule revision pertaining to portable toilets. The current rule states that portable toilets must be 20 feet from the water’s edge and storm drains. The revised rule excludes the distance.
The revised rule is as follows:
Portable toilets used during construction must not be stored on the street or near a storm drain or placed near the water’s edge on a lakefront lot. They must also be securely anchored to the ground and be maintained regularly.
There was no change in the fine for violating this rule. The fine for the first offense is $100. The fine for the second offense is $200 with a Stop Work Order.
