The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors dissolved the Fiesta Day Committee, effective immediately.
The POA recently considered consolidating several POA-sponsored activities under a single umbrella committee (to be newly created), called the Special Events Committee. With this new committee, the POA feels there is no need for a Fiesta Day Committee.
Planning for Fiesta Day 2023 is underway by the Activities Department without the help of outside assistance from the Fiesta Day Committee.
Held annually since 1973, Canyon Lake’s Fiesta Day is considered the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events. This iconic event takes place on the Saturday before Memorial Day and features a hometown parade followed by entertainment, food, and vendors. Today, Fiesta Day brings together nearly 10,000 residents and guests.
