The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors on Tuesday approved a 28-day reading to revise rule GR.5.4b No Unauthorized and/or Overnight Parking of Vehicles Over 3/4 Ton.
This change increases the weight of acceptable vehicles that can be parked on the street overnight. Exceptions to this rule could be granted for members moving in/out of the community as outlined in rule GR.4.3 Moving Pass/Temporary Parking Permit.
The revised rule is as follows:
Vehicles over 14,000 pounds gross vehicle weight rating (including trucks, tractors, tractor-trailers, 18 wheelers, and other similar vehicles) may not be parked on a Canyon Lake street between sunset and sunrise unless a moving pass/temporary parking permit has been issued.
The fine for violating this rule is $50.
