The Canyon Lake POA announced the completion of the Sierra Park Shade Structure Project. The new structures will provide much-needed shade at the busy family park and beach.

The board approved funding for the project in February 2021.  In addition to the shade structures, walkways, raised planters, concrete trash receptacles, and new barbecues were installed.

Three spots around the concrete path were added for the future installment of community benches. The POA’s Bench Program provides an opportunity for residents to pay recognition to a family member or for a club to provide lasting beautification to the community.

Any individual, family, or community group can purchase a bench with an inscription to be placed at the park or other approved area in Canyon Lake. To purchase a community bench or for more information, contact the POA’s at [email protected] or call 951-244-6841, ext. 610.

Sierra Park is located on Vacation Drive and features a beach, playground equipment, barbecues, picnic tables, a four-hole Frisbee golf course, shaded areas, restrooms, and a dock.
