Due to the lack of participation and the increase in alternative dispute options, the Canyon Lake POA’s Traffic School Program will no longer be available, effective immediately.
The program was designed as a courtesy to members who received citations for traffic violations within the community, to reduce or remove the citation and educate the member on the road rules of the community.
Members who wish to pursue disputing a citation must complete a Citation Appeals Request Form within 15 days of the citation. The Citation Appeals Request Form must be signed by the prime or associate member, then faxed, emailed, or submitted in person to the Hearing Services Associate. Once submitted, the appeal will be processed. The POA will then mail a notification with an appeals date in which the member can present their case to the Appeals Committee.
Signups for appeals start at 5 p.m. with the first case heard at 5:30 p.m. The first person to sign up will be the first person seen. Appeals are typically held on the last Monday of the month. For more information, contact the POA at 951-244-6841.
