Canyon Lake POA enters into contract with G4S for Community Patrol services

The Canyon Lake POA announced that it has contracted with G4S Secure Solutions (G4S) to provide Community Patrol services for the next three years, beginning March 15, 2021, and ending February 29, 2024.

G4S will ensure the continuity of Community Patrol services in Canyon Lake including, but not limited to, providing gate attendants, call center, dispatch, and community patrol services within the properties and amenities managed by the POA.

In December 2020, the board approved entering into a three-year agreement for Community Patrol services at a total cost not to exceed $8,270,000. Twelve bids were received, three companies were interviewed.

The primary function of Community Patrol is to provide the community with services that include access control at the entry gates, Rules and Regulations compliance, and incident observation and reporting to the POA. These services do not replace the services of outside public safety agencies such as law enforcement, fire services, medical services, and city code enforcement.
