The Canyon Lake POA honored Perry Beggs as its November Member of the Month. Beggs was recognized at the POA Board of Directors meeting on November 5.
Beggs is best known for his role as the president of the Canyon Lake Car Club.
A member of the club for the past 15 years, Beggs has been instrumental in growing the club and organizing its numerous events such as the annual Car Show, Mystery Garage Tours, Drive-In Movie Night, and Cars, Coffee, and Donuts.
Beyond his work with the Car Club, Beggs is active in supporting charitable organizations such as organizing Peanut Butter Drives for Helping Hands and assisting the Family Matters Club with its events. Beggs also served as a volunteer for the Guild’s HarborFest event.
In 2023, the Canyon Lake City Council honored Beggs as Citizen of the Month.
A Canyon Lake resident since 2004, Beggs said loves Canyon Lake and its people, and appreciates the recognition from the POA.
