The Canyon Lake POA has implemented a new security measure requiring handbag and purse checks before entry to concerts held at the lodge. This decision comes in response to incidents of attendees sneaking in outside alcohol, which violates the POA’s policies.
Outside alcohol is not permitted at concerts held at the lodge, as beverage sales help support the venue and maintain compliance with liquor licensing regulations.
Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for security checks.
Concertgoers must also adhere to the following POA “Code of Conduct and Etiquette” policy when attending a concert at the lodge:
- All patrons must have a valid ticket or reservation to attend concerts or applicable events
- During concerts, there is no lingering or blocking aisleways.
- No outside food or beverages may be brought into concerts. This includes glass, plastic, or can containers of any kind.
- No noxious or offensive conduct is allowed.
- No fighting permitted.
- No alcohol is permitted to leave the premises.
- Community Patrol, staff, and police directives must be followed at all times regardless of event type.
- Verbal or physical harassment of staff is strictly prohibited.
Patrons in violation of this policy may be subject to ejection from the event, fines, arrest, or other disciplinary action, including but not limited to suspension of privileges and facility use for future events.
