On February 28, the Canyon Lake POA presented its Community Patrol report for January. The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing 183 calls for service.
In addition to 26 warnings, staff issued 41 citations to members, 34 citations to guests, and 17 citations to service providers.
Forty-three speeding and 16 parking citations were issued.
Staff issued 23 failure to stop at a stop sign citations, two noise citations, seven e-bike citations, and 37 miscellaneous citations.
Two citations for vandalism and 13 citations for property damage were issued.
Staff confiscated 154 guest passes and issued six unauthorized entry citations.
The POA contracts its Community Patrol services. Its primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1, not Community Patrol.
