On September 9, the Canyon Lake POA presented the Community Patrol report for the month of July 2022.
Community Patrol received 298 calls for service. Twenty suspicious persons/vehicles were reported with an average response time of 7.3 minutes.
Staff issued eight speeding citations. The speed trailers issued 120 citations.
Seven animal-related citations, six noise citations, two fishing-related citations, and 47 golf-cart-related citations were issued. Four citations were issued for verbal abuse to staff.
Eleven trailer parking citations, eight RV parking citations, and 11 long-term parking citations were issued.
Staff confiscated 136 guest passes and issued 12 gate runner citations.
There were 116,245 RFID entries at the main gate, 60,176 RFID entries at the east gate, and 37,907 RFID entries at the north gate.
There were 40,841 guest entries at the main gate, 27,325 guest entries at the east gate, and 16,292 guest entries at the north gate.
Staff issued 18,525 guest passes at the main gate, 12,900 guest passes at the east gate, and 8,389 guest passes at the north gate.
Community Patrol reported two motor vehicle accidents and 10 vandalism incidents.
Community Patrol services are provided by the Canyon Lake POA. Its primary functions are rules and regulations compliance, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA.
Community Patrol can assist with barking or loose dogs, illegal fishing, loud noise complaints, motorcycle riding in the community, speeding vehicles, parking violations, vehicle accidents, and other non-emergency incidents.
