On May 1, the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association presented the Community Patrol report for March. The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing 328 calls for service, an increase of 84 calls from the previous month.
In addition to 73 warnings, staff issued 92 citations to members, 135 to guests, and one to a service provider.
Staff issued 17 speeding citations, 46 parking citations, 75 failure to stop at a stop sign citations, one school bus enforcement citation, five noise citations, 10 prohibited vehicle citations, 31 e-bike citations, and 66 miscellaneous citations.
Sixteen citations were issued for property damage, and seven citations were issued for vandalism.
Ten citations were issued for unauthorized entry, and 10 for misuse of access identification. Fifty-five guest passes were confiscated.
The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association contracts its Community Patrol services. Community Patrol’s primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1.
