On July 7, the Canyon Lake POA presented the Community Patrol report for the month of May 2022.
Community Patrol received 232 calls for service. Thirteen suspicious persons/vehicles were reported with an average response time of 8.38 minutes.
Fifty-two speeding citations were issued by staff. Ten speeding tickets were issued by the speed trailers.
Eight animal-related citations, one noise citation, one fishing-related citation, one solicitation, and 13 golf-cart-related citations were issued. Two citations were issued for verbal abuse to staff.
Twelve trailer parking citations, six RV parking citations, four unsightly/inoperable vehicle citations, and eight long-term parking citations were issued.
Staff confiscated 150 guest passes and issued 13 gate runner citations.
There were 129,633 RFID entries at the main gate, 64,276 RFID entries at the east gate, and 43,448 RFID entries at the north gate.
There were 41,070 guest entries at the main gate, 27,451 guest entries at the east gate, and 17,363 guest entries at the north gate.
Staff issued 17,894 guest passes at the main gate, 12,238 guest passes at the east gate, and 8,247 guest passes at the north gate.
Community Patrol reported four motor vehicle accidents and 13 vandalism incidents.
Community Patrol services are provided by the Canyon Lake POA. Its primary functions are rules and regulations compliance, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA.
Community Patrol can assist with barking or loose dogs, illegal fishing, loud noise complaints, motorcycle riding in the community, speeding vehicles, parking violations, vehicle accidents, and other non-emergency incidents.
