Canyon Lake POA presents Community Patrol report for November 2024

On January 3, the Canyon Lake POA presented its Community Patrol report for November 2024.

The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing a total of 231 calls for service.

Staff issued 111 citations to members and 47 citations to guests. Additionally, 72 warnings were issued.

The speed trailer issued 138 citations for speeding. Staff issued five speeding citations.

Thirty-two parking citations, 58 failure to stop at a stop sign citations, two school bus enforcement citations, one noise citation, and 39 miscellaneous citations were issued. Staff also issued nine e-bike citations and one illegal riding/towing citation.

Seven citations were issued for vandalism and 10 citations for property damage.

Staff confiscated 250 guest passes and issued seven citations for unauthorized entry.

The POA contracts its Community Patrol services. Its primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1, not Community Patrol.
