On October 28, the Canyon Lake POA presented the Community Patrol report for September 2022.
Community Patrol received 129 calls for service. Nine suspicious persons/vehicles were reported.
No speeding citations were issued by staff. The speed trailers issued 42 citations.
Two animal-related citations, seven noise citations, two solicitation citations, and eight golf-cart-related citations were issued. Two citations were issued for verbal abuse to staff.
Four trailer parking citations, seven RV parking citations, and three long-term parking citations were issued. Three citations were issued for unsightly inoperable vehicles.
Staff confiscated 79 guest passes and issued five gate runner citations.
There were 122,063 RFID entries at the main gate, 71,833 RFID entries at the east gate, and 46,739 RFID entries at the north gate.
There were 20,390 guest entries at the main gate, 12,898 guest entries at the east gate, and 17,335 guest entries at the north gate.
Staff issued 14,392 guest passes at the main gate, 14,439 guest passes at the east gate, and 6,895 guest passes at the north gate.
Community Patrol reported three vandalism incidents and one motor vehicle accident.
Community Patrol services are provided by the Canyon Lake POA. Its primary functions are rules and regulations compliance, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting to the POA.
Community Patrol can assist with barking or loose dogs, illegal fishing, loud noise complaints, motorcycle riding in the community, speeding vehicles, parking violations, vehicle accidents, and other non-emergency incidents.
