The Canyon Lake POA invites residents to learn how to play disc golf, also known as Frisbee golf.
Disc Golf Demo Day will be held on August 8 at 10 a.m. at Sierra Park. All ages are invited to participate and learn the fundamentals of the sport that is attracting more players each year.
Instruction will be provided by local disc golf players, including the POA’s Senior Member Services Manager Cory Gorham. Equipment will be provided. Participants should wear athletic attire and shoes.
Disc golf was formalized in the 1970s. The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc.
