The Canyon Lake pool will be reopening on March 13. The POA is revamping water aerobics and changing the name to Aqua Fitness. Aqua Fitness will be offered in the morning on the weekdays.
Summer swim lessons will also see some changes. Signups for lessons will start to transition to an online platform and the formation of classes will be more in-depth and targeted toward specific skills in the water. The POA said it is researching additional programming for all age groups.
Pool visitors will see new and updated pool furniture. Fabric on nine large lounges, 18 small lounges, and the blue dining chairs will be replaced. The small umbrella/drink tables, 18 umbrellas, and most of the furniture’s foot covers will also be replaced.
Pool movie nights are scheduled for April 22, May 26, June 10, July 15, and August 12.
Members must be in “Good Standing” to utilize the pool. A valid POA card is required. Members under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Members 14 to 17 years of age may be unaccompanied by an adult but are required to have their own POA card.
Members may bring up to six guests per tract/lot. Members ages 14 to 17 who are unaccompanied by an adult are allowed one guest.
Proper swimwear must be worn. Glass containers and objects, alcohol, smoking, and animals are not permitted in the pool area. Flotation devices, balls, and boards are not permitted on crowded days.
Pool amenities include showers, restrooms, handicap lift, and shade areas. A small selection of drinks and snacks are available for purchase in the pool office.
