On July 10, Canyon Lake resident Sandy Lillie celebrated 41 years as a Mary Kay consultant. In 1986, Lillie earned the use of a Grand AM through the Mary Kay Car Program. Only about 1.5 percent of Mary Kay consultants earn this reward.
In 1990, Lillie reach the status of Independent Sales Director. In 2001, she reached the status of Independent Senior Sales Director. Through the years, Lillie has earned the use of 18 cars, including two pink Cadillacs. Her latest reward is the use of a Chevy Equinox.
A 34-year Canyon Lake resident, Lillie attributes much of her success to the strong relationships and friendships she’s formed in Canyon Lake. She is a supporter of several Canyon Lake Clubs, including the Woman’s Club, Jr. Women’s Club, and Car Club, and such events as the Holiday Home Tour, Rocktoberfest, Holiday Boutique, and Fiesta Day.
Through donations from her clients, Lillie is able to donate Satin Hands Pampering sets to ER nurses at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Annually, Lillie collects sponsorships in partnership with the Council on Aging’s SmileMakers Guild Holiday Angel Gift Project to deliver Christmas gifts to disenfranchised seniors who have no one left in their lives.
An avid water and snow skier, having a career as a Mary Kay consultant has allowed Lillie time to spend on the water and mountain. She also enjoys biking and hiking.
