The City of Canyon Lake and the Veterans Day Committee invite all residents to participate in the Veterans Day Golf Cart Parade on Wednesday, November 11.

The parade lineup will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the parking lot at East Port Park. There will be specific lineup areas for the different military branches, WWII veterans, and residents. A valid POA decal will be required on all participating golf carts.

Led by Mayor Jordan Ehrenkranz, the parade will begin promptly at 1 p.m. and travel to Gault Field and then to the Towne Center. The parade will end in the Towne Center at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Residents who are not participating in the parade are invited to line the parade route and cheer on the veterans as they drive by.

The Warbirds West planes will fly over the main lake at 3 p.m.

In conjunction with this event, three restaurants in the Towne Center will be offering specials to veterans. Thanks to funding from the Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders group, a $200 donation from the Castillo family, and a generous donation from Patriotic Arms, PZA will be offering free meals to veterans with a military ID. The Sports Stop will be offering 50 percent off to veterans and the Urban Craft Eatery will be offering 25 percent off to veterans with a military ID.
