Canyon Lake restaurants to compete for ‘Best Restaurant’ in Jr. Women’s Club Chef’s Open fundraiser

Several Canyon Lake restaurants will be competing for the coveted title of 2023 Best Restaurant in the Jr. Women’s Club Chef’s Open fundraiser. This week-long event raises funds for the Jr. Women’s Club philanthropy projects.

From February 10 through February 17, each participating restaurant will be offering a special menu item for $25. The restaurants will be donating $10 per meal to the Jr. Women’s Club. Customers can vote for their favorite dish by scanning the QR code at each restaurant.

Participating restaurants include Canyon Lake County Club Bar & Grill, Canyon Cowboy, Lighthouse Restaurant, Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, PZA Oven Fired Goodness, and Sports Stop Pub & Grill. The Urban Island, a Temecula-based restaurant owned by Canyon Lake residents, is also participating.

The Canyon Lake Jr. Women’s Club is a nonprofit philanthropic club. Its mission is to provide students with scholarships, assist families in need, and provide safe playground equipment for area parks. To accomplish this mission, the club hosts several fundraisers throughout the year.
