The Canyon Lake Ski Club announced it is postponing its annual Polar Bear Day until late January or early February. A spokesperson for the club said the club is waiting until after the POA’s Club Orientation Meeting in late January.
Polar Bear Day features participants skiing or wakeboarding wearing only a swimsuit and lifevest. Boats and crews are provided by the club. Participants are treated to a warm fire and hot chocolate after their rides.
Following Polar Bear Day, the Ski Club will be hosting its Annual Awards Banquet on April 22 and its May Open three-event tournament on May 20 and 21.
