The Canyon Lake Tennis Club announced its 2022 board members. They are as follows:
Bobby Kielty, tennis pro; Timo Ettore, assistant pro; Bill Conlin, president; Mike Porter, vice president; Dawn Wessel, secretary; Gyan Barringham, treasurer; Jennifer Denson and Nancy Contreras, social media/public relations; Michelle Porter and Carlos Hansen, tournament directors; Danette Conlin and Tammy Kennedy, event directors; Bobby Kielty and Timo Ettore, juniors directors; Bill Van Vleet, social tennis director; and Val Gambina, club advisor and Shadow Mountain coordinator.
The Tennis Club’s remaining 2022 tournaments are as follows:
- February 19: Valentine’s Double Mixer, 9 a.m.
- March 12: St. Patrick’s Day Team Mixer, 9 a.m.
- April 9: Spring Mixer, 9 a.m.
- May 14: Club Mixer, 8 a.m.
- June 11: Wimbledon Mixer and Barbecue, 5 p.m.
- July 9: Fiesta Doubles Mixer, 7:30 a.m.
- August 13: Fiesta Doubles Mixer, 7:30 a.m.
- September 10: Endless Summer Team Mixer, 7:30 a.m.
- September 30 through October 2: Shadow Mountain Resort
- October 22: Halloween Costume Team Mixer, 8 a.m.
- November 12: Turkey Trot Team Mixer, 9 a.m.
- December 2: Annual Christmas Party at the Lodge, 6:30 p.m.
The Canyon Lake Tennis Club is open to all residents. A limited number of non-resident memberships will be accepted upon approval of the club’s board. Members have the opportunity to participate in club events, monthly tournaments, holiday fundraisers, and more.
Membership fees are as follows:
- Individual Resident: $40
- Family Resident: $50
- Non-Resident Adult: $150
- Non-Resident Junior: $150
- Non-Resident USTA Team Play Only $100
Pay membership by February 20 and receive a $5 discount. Unlimited use of the ball machine is available for resident members for an additional fee of $100. For membership information, contact Gyan Barringham at [email protected]
