The Canyon Lake Tennis Club is hosting a Cancer Awareness Tournament on Saturday, November 12, at 9 a.m. in honor of club member Kristen Kennedy, who recently passed away from stomach cancer. Participants are asked to wear some form of pink or periwinkle.

Participants and spectators are encouraged to donate a gift, gift card, or cash to Gifts of Joy, an organization that provides gifts to children with cancer at local hospitals. Kennedy was a supporter of Gifts of Joy since its inception in 2018. A donation box will be available at the tennis courts on the day of the tournament. Donations can also be made through the organization’s Amazon wish list at www.gifts-of-joy.org.
