The Tuesday Work Group (TWG) will be taking a 50th anniversary group photo and is calling on all past and present members to participate.
The photo will be taken on Tuesday, May 2 at 10 a.m. The group will meet at the 10th tee, where a brass plaque will be installed on a rock to commemorate TWG’s 50 years of service to Canyon Lake.
TWG was formed in 1973. In 2003, TWG drafted its charter, which was approved by the POA and made it a standing committee with the primary responsibility to perform volunteer work that will improve and beautify the golf course.
TWG meets every Tuesday at 8 a.m. from October through June.TWG typically logs between 2,000 and 3,000 service hours each year.
