The new playground equipment the POA ordered for Vacation Park will not be arriving until October. The equipment was ordered in February and was expected to be arriving soon.
The playground manufacturer attributes the delay to labor and supply chain issues, according to the POA.
“We will open the park without this playground installed,” the POA said. “It will be installed when it arrives in the fall.”
Vacation Park, formerly known as Sierra Park North, is being transformed into a family park amenity equipped with a new bicycle pump track, a shaded playground area, shaded picnic areas with tables and barbecues, loop trails with fitness stations, and restrooms. The park is anticipated to open before the end of summer.
