The members of the Canyon Lake Quilters invite Canyon Lake veterans and active duty service members to enter a free raffle for a Quilt of Valor.
Raffle tickets will be available on Veterans Day at the city’s 14th Annual Veterans Day Celebration at Holiday Harbor Park. The drawing will be held at the end of the event at approximately 5 p.m.
The members of the Canyon Lake Quilters participate in the Quilts of Valor Foundation movement. The foundation’s mission is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. Wrapped in their very own Quilt of Valor, veterans across the nation have been receiving tangible gifts of love and appreciation from quilters since this nationwide grassroots program started in 2003.
