Have you ever wanted to learn to wakesurf or ride a wakeboard? The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club is hosting a Learn to Ride Day on Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the north ski area.
Canyon Lakers of all ages are invited to learn to wakesurf, ride a wakeboard, or improve their riding skills. The cost is $25 (cash) per rider and includes a 15-minute pull, the use of equipment, training, and one raffle ticket. Reservations are not required. Riders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
A Canyon Lake POA card must be presented when registering a rider. Wakeboard Club shirts and additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
Founded in 1998, the Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club caters to everyone, from beginners to the most advanced riders. The club promotes the sport by hosting tournaments and sponsoring Learn to Ride Day events.
