Canyon Lake Water Ski Club announces new board members

The Canyon Lake Water Ski Club installed its new board members during its May May 19 club meeting.

The board members for the 2023/2024 season are Scott Larson, president; Frank Woodman, vice president; Emi Horton, secretary; Kevin Hyatt, treasurer; and Rick Jacob, tournament director.

The club’s current membership is 65 families. Individual memberships cost $40. Family memberships cost $50. Membership benefits include sanctioned tournaments (3-event and grassroots), fun events such as Learn to Ski Day and Polar Bear Day, annual banquets, awards, coaching through relationships, and skill building through club-hosted clinics.

The Water Ski Club will be collaborating with the Canyon Lake Enrichment Activities and Recreation (C.L.E.A.R.) Foundation and the Wakeboard Club to host a Wakeboard and Waterski Camp for kids ages eight to 15 from July 24 through July 26.
