After a two-month hiatus, the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is resuming its meetings on Wednesday, September 18, at the Canyon Lake Country Club. Shopping and socializing is from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the meeting and program.
The program includes a guest speaker, local vendors, and lunch (optional). Seating is limited. Reservations are not required. There will be a short break between the meeting and the program.
The 2024-2025 season runs from September through June, followed by a two-month hiatus. This season’s events include the Hot Autumn Nights Chili Cook-Off, Witches Gathering, Holiday Auction, Holiday Home Tour, 53rd annual Fashion Show, and bunco events.
Samantha Gorrell is leading the club of 169 women as president for the second consecutive year. She is joined by Gay Troy and Linda Adams, 1st vice president-programs; Pamela DeBry, 2nd vice president-ways and means; Tarrie Sullivan, 3rd vice president-membership; Bonnie Wade, 4th vice president-philanthropy, Karen Wallace, treasurer; Shelley Carter, secretary; Calista Grande, publicity; and Rose Marie Hand, parliamentarian.
Founded in 1972, the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is a nonprofit philanthropic service group dedicated to helping those in need. The club hosts several events throughout the year to help raise funds for local charities and educational scholarships for girls and women who reside in Canyon Lake. Its notable events include the Fashion Show and Holiday Home Tour.
Club meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Canyon Lake Country Club. Membership is for women aged 18 and older. For more information contact, contact [email protected].
