The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is hosting a meet and greet on Sunday, August 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the East Port Activities Building. The event is part of the club’s membership drive.
Women in the community are invited to meet the current board and learn about its plans for the club’s 50th anniversary year. Light refreshments will be served.
The members of the 2022/2023 board include Shawna Bowen, president; Dona Ziegler, programs; Sue Collins, membership; Samantha Gorrell and Rose Marie Hand, ways and means; Debi Gonzalez, philanthropy; Calista McGee, secretary; Krista Smith, treasurer; Karen Wallace and Kasey Castillo, publicity; and Bonnie Wade, parliamentarian.
Monthly club meetings are held on the third Wednesday at the lodge. Doors open at 9 a.m. for vendor shopping, followed by the meeting and lunch at 10 a.m.
