The Canyon Lake Yacht Club announced its 2024 leadership with Rob Mora at the helm as the new commodore.
Dave Carter will serve the role of vice commodore, while Kat Dimpflmaier takes on the responsibilities as the yeoman, also known as the secretary. Lynette Rodriquez is stepping into the position of purser, also known as the treasurer. Gina Lee Allen was voted into the membership chair position.
With three events still on the horizon for 2023, the 41st Annual Parade of Lights boat parade, Green Dragon Disassembly Party, and tour of the best waterfront holiday homes, the club anticipates a smooth transition into the new year with its new leadership.
The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed time on the lake. Since that time, the club has grown to 394 members. The club operates as a social and philanthropic club within the Canyon Lake constellation of sanctioned clubs and organizations.
The Yacht Club maintains a busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, sunset cruises, and other recreation. The club also hosts Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights holiday boat parade and gives back to the community through its student scholarship program.
