The Canyon Lake Yacht Club announced that Sam Bock and Luke Schlabach have been selected as the recipients of the club’s 2021 student scholarships. Bock and Schlabach will each receive a $1,000 scholarship toward their continuing education.
Bock will be majoring in computer engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Schlabach will be pursuing an economic degree at Pepperdine University this fall.
“We hope the community will join the club in congratulating these young men in their achievements and wish them continued success in their future pursuits,” said Scholarship Chair Karen Doherty.
Bock and Schlabach will be honored at the club’s Scholarship Dinner Meeting on Thursday, July 8, at 6 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. Pizza and cake will be provided by the club.
