The Canyon Lake Yacht Club installed its 2023 officers during its Parade of Lights Awards and Board Installation Dinner on Friday evening at the home of members Rob Mora and Lainie Cooney.
Ron Wilbur will lead the crew as commodore in 2023. Rob Mora will serve as vice commodore, Diann Oltman will serve as yeoman, Greg Doherty will serve as purser, Cindy Cameron will serve as membership chair, and Lainie Cooney will serve as events chair.
The club’s tentative 2023 calendar features 32 events, including new events such as an Easter Egg Hunt on the water and a 4th of July Patriotic Boat Parade.
The club’s next event, a Potluck Meeting and Stewardship Appreciation Dinner for members and guests, is scheduled for Thursday, February 16.
The Canyon Lake Yacht Club is comprised of members of all ages and all interests. Boat ownership is not required to be a member. Annual membership is $15. Residents interested in joining the Yacht Club can sign up online HERE.
