The Canyon Lake Yacht Club invites the community to participate in its spring lake clean-up on Saturday, April 11. Participants will depart at 9 a.m. from the dock at Diamond Point Park to pick up shoreline debris that can be reached from the boats.
Community members can participate by boat or golf cart. Non-boat owners are welcome to join aboard one of the Yacht Club boats.
Boats will navigate along the shoreline, where crews will pick up debris within reach. Golf Cart participants will go to park beaches to pick up debris and trash along the shoreline. Trash bags and nets will be provided.
The club is also seeking scuba divers for underwater retrieval.
