Boaters capture the Yacht Club’s whale. Photo by Pei Pei Gunter.The Canyon Lake Yacht Club’s Whale Hunt returns on Saturday, June 10, at 12 p.m. The Whale Hunt is a family-friendly activity providing education and a fun lake game for adults and kids.
While the Whale Hunt is focused on tracking down “the whale,” the Yacht Club has determined that it is a suitable activity for families. A large turnout of scavenger hunters, thrill seekers, competitive hunters, neighborhood rivals, and fun-loving families is expected.
Participating boats will meet at the Diamond Point Park dock at noon to pick up an informational packet. Participants without boats can join in on the fun by boarding a Yacht Club boat at Diamond Point Park.
