The Canyon Lake Yacht Club will be hosting a chili cook-off and sports party on Sunday, October 13, at 12:30 p.m. on Skipper’s Island.
Originally scheduled to take place on October 6, the event was pushed back to October 13 due to high temperatures expected this weekend.
Located yards from Happy Camp, Skipper’s Island is only accessible by boat or a floatation device. The club will offer a water taxi service to take non-boaters to and from Holiday Harbor Park and Skipper’s Island from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite NFL gear. The club will have multiple televisions streaming live NFL football to watch. Generators will provide power for the crockpots.
Additional activities include cornhole games and raffles.
This event is exclusive to club members and their guests. Reservations are required. To RSVP online, click here. For more information, contact Commodore Rob Mora at [email protected].
