Dress in your best pirate or wench attire and join the Canyon Lake Yacht Club as it sets sail for back-to-back pirates and wenches-themed cruise and tie-up parties on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Harbor docks, where participants will socialize and share appetizers before setting sail at 7 p.m. for a cruise around the main lake.

After a short cruise, boats will tie up in Catfish Cove, where the party will continue with more merriment. Boat ownership is not required to attend. Guests are welcome to board Yacht Club boats as available. Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer to share and their own beverages.

Since 2021, the pirates and wenches-themed cruise has proven increasingly popular with costumed participants swaggering about in their gnarly garb.

The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed time on the lake. The club maintains a busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, sunset cruises, and other recreation. The club also hosts Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights holiday boat parade and gives back to the community through its student scholarship program.
