Councilman Jeremy Smith will lead the event, setting the tone for a morning of unity, reflection, and prayer.

This year’s keynote speaker is Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin.

Prayers will be offered by local officials, church pastors, and community members, fostering a spirit of togetherness and reinforcing the community’s shared values of strength, hope, and faith.

In addition to musical performances, the program includes prayers for the city, county, state, leaders, unity, those affected by war, first responders, military and veterans, victims, the missing, at-risk youth, seniors, children, and families.

All are encouraged to attend and participate in this uplifting event. There is no charge to attend, and reservations are not required.

National Day of Prayer has been celebrated in the U.S. since 1952, by joint resolution of Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan designated the first Thursday of May as the National Day of Prayer.
