Canyon Lake’s annual Fiesta Day returns this year with a twist. This year’s Fiesta Day will be transformed into a “Fiesta Hopper” featuring four days of fun activities at various locations throughout Canyon Lake. The theme this year celebrates Canyon Lake’s “Lake Life.”
Held annually since 1973, Fiesta Day is considered the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events. This annual tradition brings 5,000 to 10,000 spectators together for an old-fashioned hometown parade and a variety of activities.
Traditionally, Fiesta Day takes place on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and features a hometown parade followed by festivities at the lodge. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Fiesta Day was canceled. In 2021, Fiesta Day and the parade were canceled and replaced with a “Park Hopper” featuring two days of activities at various locations throughout Canyon Lake.
This year, Fiesta Day will transform into a “Fiesta Hopper” and feature the iconic parade on Saturday and activities spread out over four days at five locations: East Port Park, Holiday Harbor Park, Indian Beach, lodge, and Sierra Park.
Free shuttle buses will be running on Saturday and Sunday with pickups at Blue Bird Hall and Gault Field and stops at each of the “Fiesta Hopper” locations.
