The POA announced today that its postponing Canyon Lake’s 47th annual Fiesta Day until next year. The POA said the decision was made due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the state, county, and city orders against permitting any gathering of people.

“We are very disappointed to not have Fiesta Day this year, we know how much it means to the community. However, with the continued impacts of COVID-19, postponing this event is the right thing to do”  said POA Assistant General Manager Lynn Jensen.

The POA staff and Fiesta Day Committee will be contacting vendors and sponsors who have already submitted payments to begin the process of refunding those funds. Vendors and sponsors who have any questions can contact the POA at activities@ canyonlakepoa.com.

Fiesta Day is an annual Canyon Lake tradition that brings families, neighbors, and friends together for an old-fashioned hometown parade through the streets, followed by entertainment and activities at the lodge. Considered the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events, Fiesta Day attracts more than 5,000 visitors.
