Canyon Lake residents are invited to decorate the exterior of their homes for the 2nd Annual Holiday Home Contest. This year’s categories are Best Light Display, Best Synchronized Lights and Music, Best Theme, Resident’s Choice, and Best Street.
Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Judges will not enter the property to view the sides, back, or inside of the residence. Judging will take place on December 17 and December 18. The winners will be announced on December 19.
The first place winners will receive $250, a trophy, and a yard sign. The second place winners will receive a $150 and a yard sign. The third place winners will receive $50 and a yard sign. The Best Street winners will receive a summer block party with a DJ, pizza, and a jumper.
All entries will be included on a map of participating homes.

The Holiday Home Contest is sponsored by Sabrina Alt of American Dream Realty. The judging will be done by volunteers and not by Sabrina Alt or associates of American Dream Realty. Residents can vote for their favorite Resident’s Choice entry by visiting the Canyon Lake Holiday Home Facebook page.
