Canyon Lake teen Kendra Nathan earned four first place titles at the 2021 American Water Ski Association Western Regional Championships last weekend at Laku Landing in Windsor, Colorado. Nathan placed first in slalom, trick, jump, and overall.
Nathan’s overall performances earned her a spot on the Western Region’s Junior All-Star team for the fifth consecutive year.
Next month, Nathan will be traveling to Wilmington, Illinois, to compete in the 79th GOODE Water Ski National Championships and then to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, to compete in both the Under 17 and Under 21 International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation World Waterski Championships Tournament.
Skiing since the age of eight, Nathan has won several national and regional titles. She competes in slalom, trick, and jump, and is currently an open-rated skier in slalom, trick, and overall.
