The Canyon Lake POA invites the community to break out their favorite Hawaiian shirts or hula skirts and celebrate the end of summer Hawaiian style at Maui Sunday on September 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the lodge.
Maui Sunday features inflatable water slides, a DJ, and lawn games. Baja Shrimp and Tiki Treats will be offering tasty eats and treats. The Lighthouse Restaurant will be offering a Hawaiian-themed menu in the Holiday Bay Room.
At 7 p.m., the party will move to the sand at Sunset Beach for a performance by the professional Polynesian Entertainment Group featuring hula dancers, Samoan drummers, and fire dances. The group typically performs for about an hour.
Maui Sunday, formally known as Maui Monday, has been a Canyon Lake tradition since 2012.
