Sugar Dollz, a longtime fixture in the Canyon Lake Towne Center, is closing its doors as owners Amy and Gus Liechti expand their salon suite business.

Amy relocated from Redlands to Canyon Lake to launch Sugar Dollz on April 21, 2010, the same year she met Gus. Over the years, Sugar Dollz has operated in seven different locations in the Towne Center.
In April 2019, the couple launched Wild Blush Premium Salon Suites, transforming a Towne Center building into seven salon suites. The following year, they leased the former A Cup Above building and transformed it into 12 suites. They eventually purchased the building.
Between 2021 and 2023, they leased two more buildings and transformed them into salon suites, providing luxury spaces for local entrepreneurs.

Now, the Liechtis are converting the current Sugar Dollz building into eight luxury suites. Once completed, their portfolio will include 35 suites and once commercial tenant across five locations in the Towne Center.
Despite closing the storefront, Amy plans to continue offering custom swimwear and accessories by appointment only. She said their decision to close was motivated by a desire to spend more time with their daughter, Mia.
Meanwhile, the Liechtis plan to further expand their suite business, providing spaces for local entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. “There are currently multiple Towne Center businesses that started in our suites and now have their own storefront,” Amy said. “We encourage are suite business owners to grow their businesses so they can eventually have their own storefront. We are a launch pad for entrepreneurs, and we are here to guide them along their journey.”
