On December 14, Captain James Rayls of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department presented a public safety update for the month of November.
Deputies responded to 356 calls for service in the City of Canyon Lake in the month of November. Three Part One crimes were reported: one aggravated assault, one larceny theft, and one motor vehicle theft.
Deputies wrote five traffic citations and investigated two traffic collisions.
Overall, deputies made six arrests: two DUIs, one drug possession, two outstanding warrants, and one drunk in public.
Police services are provided by the City of Canyon Lake through a contract with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
