Nearly all car enthusiast gatherings in the area have been canceled amid the coronavirus pandemic. The members of the Canyon Lake Car Club have been busy in their garages washing, waxing, and fixing things in the hope of a chance to take a nice drive. What do you do? Have a COVID-safe car cruise.

On September 16, members of the Car Club gathered not for an event or official meeting but just to drive up to Tom’s Farms for lunch on the patio at the Wine and Cheese Shop.

“The trip up was nearly trouble-free and we all enjoyed the great sandwiches and pizza there, plus there were lots and lots of catching up on talk of cars and what’s been going on with everyone,” said John Lewis. “Then back to the garage, energized to replace that carburetor or radiator and give our cars another coat of wax.”
