The cities of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, and Wildomar have partnered up to invite and inspire residents to come together to pick up trash in and around their neighborhoods. Residents can participate individually or in a group and choose when, where, and how long they want to participate.
The event kicks off with announcements and breakfast treats on Saturday, June 26, at 8 a.m. at Diamond Stadium in Lot B. Participant swag (Storm tickets) and supplies will also be available in limited quantities. Participating cities will also have limited supplies of trash bags, pickers, and gloves that can be picked up during the week leading up to the event at one of the locations:
- Lake Elsinore: Public Works Yard at 521 N. Langstaff St. Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wildomar: Wildomar Cemetery District at 21400 Palomar St. Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Canyon Lake: City Hall in the Canyon Lake Towne Center Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Materials can be returned on June 28.
A new feature for this year’s event is the Love Your Neighborhood Map, an interactive map that showcases how many people and groups have signed up to clean up the communities and where. When participants sign up they can place a pin where they plan to pick up trash.
