In partnership with the Cities of Lake Elsinore and Wildomar, the City of Canyon Lake played host to this year’s National Night Out, a community event aimed at elevating crime prevention awareness, strengthening neighborhood spirit, and forging even closer police-community relationships.
This annual community-building event takes place on the first Tuesday in August in communities throughout the country.
This year’s event took place in the Towne Center and featured an evening filled with engaging activities and interactive displays, as well as interaction with local law enforcement and firefighters, food trucks, merchandise and public safety-related vendors, a DJ, a free raffle, giveaways, activities for kids, a rock wall and inflatables, fire engines, squad cars, police K9s, Mounted Posse, the BearCat armored vehicle, a mobile command post, and other emergency response vehicles.
