A number of recent events in the Canyon Lake Towne Center have prompted resident concerns about perceived safety issues in the center.
Councilman Jeremy Smith has requested that an item be placed on the agenda to discuss these concerns at the October 7 City Council meeting. The item appears for discussion only; no action is recommended at this time.
The October 7 City Council meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. The Open Session meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. The agenda is posted on the city’s website.
The Council Chamber will be closed to the public; however, the public may observe the meeting on Spectrum channel 29, Frontier FIOS channel 39, and on the city’s website at www.canyonlakeca.gov/live.
Members of the public may comment electronically by sending an email prior to the meeting or during the meeting to [email protected]. The city clerk will read the comment submissions into the record during the “Public Comments” portion of the agenda, provided that such comments are no longer than 250 words and include the agenda item number and the name of the person submitting the comment.
