City of Canyon Lake announces 2024 events

The City of Canyon Lake announced its 2024 events, kicking off with a Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Community Church parking lot at 30515 Railroad Canyon Rd. For additional details, click here.

The Canyon Lake Fire Station will be hosting an open house on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event features tours of the station, live demonstrations, lunch, activities for kids, and more.

For the third consecutive year, the City of Canyon Lake is continuing its tradition of honoring those who serve and who have made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting the nation by placing an American flag in the front yard of every home in the city. In Partnership with the City of Lake Elsinore and the City of Wildomar, the City of Canyon Lake will be hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6. This year’s event will be in Lake Elsinore, with the time and location to be announced at a later date. This community event is aimed at elevating crime prevention awareness, strengthening neighborhood spirit, and forging even closer police-community relationships.

Mayor Dale Welty will deliver the State of the City Address on Thursday, October 3, at the Canyon Lake Lodge. This event brings together community leaders, regional stakeholders, and businesses to celebrate the city’s accomplishments and discuss the developments on the horizon.

Veterans will be honored at the city’s Veterans Day Celebration and Veterans Market on November 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park.

The city’s 13th Annual Turkey and Food Drive will be held on Thursday, November 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at City Hall.

The city’s ever-popular Winter Wonderland will be held on Thursday, December 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Towne Center. This year’s event will include a holiday market.

The city will wrap up its 2024 events with the 2nd Annual Donuts with Santa on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the fire station.
