The City of Canyon Lake has announced its lineup of community events for 2025, offering residents a variety of opportunities to connect, celebrate, and give back throughout the year.
City events kick off with the Community Clean-Up and Shredding event on Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at Canyon Lake Community Church, located at 30515 Railroad Canyon Rd.
On Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Canyon Lake Fire Station will welcome the community to its annual Open House to meet local firefighters, explore emergency vehicles, and learn more about fire safety.
This summer, Canyon Lake is teaming up with Wildomar and Lake Elsinore to host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5. The time and location will be announced at a later date. National Night Out promotes community engagement and strengthens relationships between residents and law enforcement.
In the fall, the State of the City Address will take place on Thursday, October 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge. The State of the City brings together community leaders, regional stakeholders, businesses, and community members to celebrate the city’s accomplishments and discuss the developments on the horizon.
Families can look forward to the city’s 2nd Annual Pumpkin Bash on Thursday, October 23, from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Towne Center. This fall event will feature activities, entertainment, food, and vendors.
Honoring those who have served, the city will host its 17th Annual Veterans Day celebration on Tuesday, November 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. This event will feature live music, a flyover, a patriotic marketplace, speakers, and a free quilt raffle exclusively for veterans.
Also in November, the community is invited to support local families in need by donating to the city’s 15th Annual Turkey Drive on Thursday, November 20, at City Hall. Donations of frozen turkeys and non-perishable food items can be dropped off between 2 and 4 p.m.
Wrapping up the year, the holiday season will bring Donuts with Santa at the fire station on Saturday, December 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering families a chance to enjoy treats, meet Santa, and celebrate the spirit of the season.
These events provide residents with ways to engage with the community, celebrate traditions, and make a positive impact in Canyon Lake throughout the year.
